Note: Her mother's maiden name was Kielig.

Mrs. John McDougall, former correspondent, succumbs at hospital

Mrs. John J. McDougall, 80, lifetime Plymouth county resident died late Friday morning at Floyd Valley hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. McDougall had been a patient at the hospital since 1967.

Agness Werth, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Werth, was born near Neptune in Plymouth county, Dec. 11, 1889.

She was active in the Order of Eastern Star and was a past worth matron. She ad her family resided near Struble for many years, retiring to Le Mars.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars, with burial in Le Mars memorial cemetery. Rev. George Dunn will officiate.

Survivors are her husband John J. and a son Jack, both of Le Mars.

Mrs. McDougall was the longtime Struble correspondent for the Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel and later the Daily Sentinel until she retired because of ill health.
