WEBSTER VANDERBURGH FARMED IN MINLERVILLE VICINTITY FOR MANY YEARS

Death claimed Webster Vanderburgh, aged 74, a resident of Westfield for many years at the Sacred Heart hospital Tuesday night. Mr. Vanderburgh had been ill for some time suffering with gallstones and other complications and was brought to the hospital only a short time before death ensued. He had been in failing health for two years.

Webster Vanderburgh was born near Binghamton, N. Y., February 21, 1856, and lived there as a young man. He came west and located in Bureau county, Illinois, and was united in marriage while living there with Miss Emma Cain. They came to Plymouth county about thirty-two years ago and farmed in the vicinity of Milnerville and in later years moved to Westfield to live. Two children preceded him in death. He leaves his widow, residing in Westfield, and a brother, Bert Vanderburgh, of Geddes, S. D.

The funeral services will be held this afternoon at the United Brethren church in Adaville, Rev. Wm. Schaper, of Westfield, officiating, and the interment will be made in the Adaville cemetery.

Mr. Vanderburgh was a good citizen and neighbor and enjoyed the respect and esteem of those who knew him in the community for more than a generation.
