Anna Tapper, 70, Called By Death

Funeral Services To Be Held From St. John's Church

Mrs. Anna Tapper passed away Sunday at her home after a sickness of about four weeks.

Anna Weers Tapper was born April 4, 1872, in Germany. She had reached the* age of 70 years, five months, and 14 days at the time of her; death. When she was 14 years of age. she was confirmed at Wiefels, Germany. She came to this country and came to Plymouth county where she resided on a farm in Grant Township. Later she moved to a farm in Preston township where she made her home until her death. On May 28, 1890, she was married to Harm Bernhard Tapper at Petersburg, 111. There were eight children born to this union. She was a member of the St. John’s Ladies Aid in Preston township.

Survivors are the children, Ben and William, at home, Henry of Sioux City, Mrs. Etta Klemme and Mrs. Anna Hillrichs of Akron and Mrs. Minnie Kallsen near Craig; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and two sons, John and Gerhard.

Funeral services will be held at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Preston township at 2:30 p.m
