AGED MAN FOUND DEAD IN BED

Thomas McKettrick Rites Will be Held Tuesday P. M.

Thomas McKettrick, a well known resident of this city for the past 50 years was found dead in bed at his home, 531 1st Ave. S. E. Sunday morning. He was 76 years old.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Luken’s funeral home with Rev. L. L. Belk officiating and interment will be in the city cemetery.

Thomas McKettrick was born April 3, 1864, Dundee, Scotland. He came to the United States in 1886 and had lived here for 50 years. He married Anna Gerdes on August 18, 1898, at Orange City, Iowa.

Surviving to mourn his passing besides his divorced wife, Mrs. Anna McKay, of Long Beach, are his children, James, of Chatsworth; Thomas, Ft. Madison, Ia.; Mrs. Hannah Schupp, of Sioux City; William, of Sioux City; Charleen Woley, of Long Beach, Calif.; Charles of Long Beach, Calif., and Celestia of Denver, Colo.
