Miss Darlene Hillrichs, 43, of Le Mars, Iowa, died Feb. 28, Le Mars, Iowa, after a long illness.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m., March 2 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Preston Township, rural Akron, Iowa. The Rev. James Sandvick will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Mauer Funeral Home of Le Mars.

Miss Hillrichs was born Jan. 9, 1930, on a farm near Akron and lived there until moving to Le Mar in September 1962.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. John F. (Katherine) Hillrichs of Le Mars.
