REMSEN, Iowa - Scott Feeck, 49, of Remsen died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at his place of business in Remsen.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen with the Revs. Thomas J. Hart and Randy Schon officiating, assisted by Deacon Allan Weiler. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Remsen. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday, with a parish rosary at 3 p.m., a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and a Catholic Order of Foresters rosary at 8 p.m., all at Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.

Mr. Feeck was born March 25, 1952, in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of William and Ruth (Gabel) Feeck. He was raised in Remsen and attended both St. Mary's Catholic School and Remsen-Union High School. He graduated from Remsen-Union High School in 1970. He married Jeanne Connor on June 3, 1978, in Remsen. He was employed at the Farmer's Co-op Elevator in Remsen for 23 years. In 1995, he began operating Connor's Lounge in Remsen.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include a son, Ryan Feeck of Remsen; a daughter, Jamie Feeck of Remsen; his former wife, Jeanne Feeck of Remsen; his stepfather, Bernard "Shorty" Thiel of Remsen; his stepgrandmother, Lucille Thiel of Remsen; three sisters, Marilyn Feeck Bohlke of Hawthorne, Calif., Barb Pick of South Sioux City, and Marlene and her husband, Donald Klein of Remsen; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Mike Beelner, John Cochran, Mike Crawford, Pat Loutsch, Steve Portz and Ron Wurth.
