Ray S. Wells Passes Away

Member Of Well Known Family In Le Mars

Ray S. Wells, 51, 2510 Eleventh St., Sioux City, former Le Mars’ resident, died Wednesday I a Sioux City hospital.

Mr. Wells was born September 5, 1887, in Chicago where he lived for 19 years. After short residences at Phillip, S. D., Spencer and Le Mars, he went to Sioux City.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha; two daughters, Doris and Hazel at Hom; his father, F. H. Wells of Sioux City, C. F. Wells of Le Mars and H. I. Wells of Chicago, and five sisters, Mrs. Phillip Kensley of Seattle, Mrs. Roy Hill of Portland, Ore., Mrs. William Hampton of Redmond, Wash., and Mrs. Roy Chenhall of Le Mars.
