Linda L. Angerman, 73, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars with Pastor Jan Christensen officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Linda Lana Schrooten was born on December 22, 1941 to Roiden and Avis (Risner) Schrooten in Sioux City, Iowa. She was raised in Union Township, attending and graduating from Union Township High School. After graduation, she met and married John Angerman. Together, they adopted two children, Phillip and Penny. John passed away in 1974. After his death, Linda moved to Le Mars to be closer to her family. Linda began working at Arby's and later at Wal Mart, where she was employed for 19 years. She loved going on family camping trips across the country. She also enjoyed hockey, whether on T.V. or attending Sioux City Musketeer games with her children, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a long time member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ. Family meant the world to Linda and she treasured her time spent with them.

Linda is survived by her son, Phillip Angerman of Sioux City; her daughter, Penny (Matt) Recker of Le Mars; grandson, Cody Angerman; brother, Rick (Gloria) Schrooten of Le Mars; niece, Shelli (Chad) Peters and their children: Regan and Mason; nephew, Ryan (Ashley) Schrooten and their son, Carsten; and many other relatives and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, John.
