Mrs. Anna Muecke Died Saturday After Brief Illness

Mrs. Anna Muecke, who has been a LeMars resident for over a quarter century, died Saturday at Sacred Heart hospital after a brief illness.

She was born September 8, 1875, in Sioux City and was married in LeMars, May 18, 1891, to Wm. Muecke. The next year they moved to a farm in the south part of this county and' continued farming until 1919 when they moved to LeMars. Mr. Muecke died in 1932.

Survivors include three sons, Carl and Walter, both of Hinton, and Frank of Ray, Minn., and one daughter, Mrs. Lily Bokke, of Sioux City. Also a sister, Mrs. Agnes Halleday, of McCook Lake, Neb., and two half brothers, Charles Hilderbrandt of Sioux City and Edward of Denver, Colo., There are nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran church in Sioux City with Rev. H. D. Stahmer officiating.
