AKRON, Iowa - Jason Button, 27, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Akron, died suddenly Saturday, May 16, 1998, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron, with the Rev. Marion Sindt officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Button was born June 27, 1970, in St. Paul, Minn., the son of Richard and Patricia (Malcom) Button.

He was employed as a printer with the Argus Leader in Sioux Falls, S.D., from 1995 to 1996.

Survivors include his father of Emmetsburg, Iowa; his mother of Akron; a brother and his wife, David and Doretta of Akron; his fiancee, Connie Miljour of Peoria, Ariz.; a son, Jacob Button; his grandmother, Ruth Button of Emmetsburg; and several aunts, uncles and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Button Sr.; and his maternal grandparents, Dean and Mary Malcom.

Pallbearers will be Paul, John and James Harkness, Brad Kjose, Jon Milbrodt and Kevin Miller.
