Anna Freda Bruhn was born in Henningstedt, Germany, May 17, 1874, and died at the age of 41 years, 3 months and 12 days. She came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, in 1881, and resided at Clinton, Iowa, until 1884, when she came to Union county, S. D., which has since remained her home. There she was joined in holy wedlock with Carl Bruhn on January 31, 1893.

Besides the sorrowing husband, she is mourned by three brothers and three sisters--Christ. Anderson, of Union County, Henry Anderson, east o Akron, and John Anderson, of Madison, S. D.; Mrs. Henry Boetger, of Union county, Mrs. Hein, of Madison, S. D., and Mrs. Schuette of Canada.

Mrs. Bruhn was taken into the holy convent of God by holy baptism when a girl in Germany and has always been a consistent and faithful member of the Lutheran church, a kind and loving wife and sister and a helpful friend and neighbor, by all of whom her untimely demise is sincerely mourned. The sympathy of many friends is extended the bereaved husband, sisters and brothers.

Funeral services were held in the Akron German Lutheran church yesterday afternoon, Rev. F. A. Meske conducting the service. The church was filled to its capacity by friends and neighbors, the Lutheran Ladies' aid, of which deceased was a member, attending in a body. There were many beautiful floral offerings.
