FUNERAL FRIDAY MRS. M. FRERICHS
Akron Resident Died Tuesday At Age of 71
Funeral services for Margaretta Frerichs of Akron will be conducted at 2 o'clock at the Preston township church with Rev. Fenske officiating. Burial will be in the Preston township cemetery with Mauer's funeral home in charge.
Margaretta Frerichs was born May 3, 1872, in Germany, where she lived until she was 11 years old when she came to America and Plymouth county and had since resided here. She was married to C. C. Frerichs who with five daughters, Meta Siebels of Le Mars, Anna Kroepel of Akron, Hilda schmidt of Le Mars, Emma and Minnie at home, two sons, Claus of Le Mars and George of Akron, mourn her passing.

Mrs. C. C. Frerichs Taken By Death
Wife of Preston Township Farmer
Mrs. Frerichs, 71, wife of C. C. Frerichs, well known farmer of Preston Township, died January 4, following a lingering illness. She had been in poor health for the past six years.
Margaretta Harms, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jurgen Harms, and was born in Germany, May 3, 1872, and came with her parents to LeMars when eleven years old. She was married to C. D. Frerichs, December 2, 1897, at the Grant Township church, the late Rev. J. D. Meyer performed the ceremony.
Besides her husband she leaves seven children: Claus Frerichs, Mrs. Meta Siebels, Mrs. Anna Kroepel, George Frerichs, Mrs. Hilda Schmidt, Emma and Minnie Frerichs and eighteen grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Preston Township Lutheran church, Rev. A. Fenske officiating, and interment made in the church cemetery.
The Mauer Funeral Home of Le Mars is in charge of arrangements.
