DEATH COMES TO ALLEN DOANE HERE FRIDAY

Allen Doane, a resident of this area all his life, passed away Friday, March 17, at the Akron Hospital, aged 60 years, 8 months and 4 days.

Mr. Doane was born: July 21, 1900 in Sioux City. He farmed many years southeast of Westfield before retiring and moving to Akron last fall.

Survivors include the widow, Josephine; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Pies of Merrill, la.; a a sister, Mrs. Clara Burnett of Hinton, Ia., and a grandchild.

Funeral services Were held Monday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Rev. J. C. Skahille officiating. Burial was in the Ellendale cemetery.
