HOLD LAST RITES FOR WYATT HEYL

Well-Known Union County Man Called By Death Dec. 20

Wyatt Heyl, west of town, a resident of this vicinity for about 46 years, passed away at the Akron Hospital Sunday, December 20, after a serveral weeks' illness, aged 78 years, 8 months, and 26 edays.

Mr. Heyl was born March 24, 1881, at Sac City, Iowa. He lived at Ida Grove, Iowa, for eight years and later at Osmond and Newcastle, Nebr. On January 19, 1910, he was united in marriage with Josephine Christensen at Le Mars, Iowa, where they lived for three years, and since then have farmed near Akron.

Left to mourn his departure are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Rozell, and a son Donald, both of Akron; six grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.

Funeral servies were held Wednesday of last week in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. David Roy officiating. Mrs. Alvin Frisk was vocalist and Mrs. Henning Shoulberg was oranist. Pallbearers were Julius Willer, Oscar Mentzer, Elmer Dimmick, Fred Dirks, Wm. Van Wyhe and Arthur Staum. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
