DEAD—On Friday last, about three o’clock p.m., Lauren Andrew Betsworth, Sr., died, after a painful illness lasting nearly three months.

Lauren A. Betsworth was born in Campton, Kane County, Illinois, May 11, 1858, and died just at the threshold of manhood. He was a good son, kind brother, affectionate friend, and his loss is deeply mourned.
