Former Le Mars Man Dies In Sioux City Tuesday

John F. Betsworth, 72, 1220 Wall Street, Sioux City, died Tuesday evening in a hospital.

Born in Maryland December 7, 1871, he came with his parents to Le Mars, at the age of 9 years. He lived here until 35 years ago, moving to Sioux City. He had been employed as a concrete worker.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson chapel with Rev. R. D. Acheson officiating. Burial was in the Kingsley cemetery.

Surviving are tow sons, John and Elmer Betsworth, both of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Daisy Whitlock and a brother, Charles all of Sioux City.
