A. W. Dobbert

Arthur William Dobbert of 434 6th St., S. W., passed away at the Mental Health Institute in Cherokee on November 27. He had been hospitalized for the past year there.

Mr. Dobbert was born on November 27, 1901. He had been sick for the past 17 years and passed away on his 50th birthday.

Mary Dannenbring and Arthur Dobbert were married on July 10, 1929 at Ireton, Iowa. After their marriage they farmed in Sioux County until retiring in 1945 when they moved to Le Mars. He was the son of Frank and Anna Schumann Dobbert.

Funeral servies will be held on Friday, November 30, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Burial will be in the Le Mars city cemetery under direction of Mauer's funeral home. Rev. L. L. Belk will officiate at the last rites.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, Le Mars, daughter Maureen of Le Mars, 3 brothers, Roy, Maynard and Leland of Le Mars; on sister Mrs. Carl Wide of Struble.

He was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clarence.

Mr. Dobbert was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in 1931 by Rev. J. J. Vollmar.
