Alfred M. Dobbert

Alfred Dobbert, 74, retired farmer and longtime custoian of the Le Mars Memorial cemetery, died Wednesday (June 20, 1973) at Floyd Valley hospital after an illness of several months. He had been hospitalized one week.

Mr. Dobbert and his wife Julia resided at 12 Seventh St. SW, Le Mars.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Mauer Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home.

Alfred M. Dobbert was born Feb. 14, 1899, in Stanton township, rural Le Mars, the son of the late William C. and amary (Huebsch) Dobbert. He and Julia V. Carley were married aug. 17, 1946, at Omaha. Mr. Dobbert was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County.

Survivors are his wife, Julia of Le Mars; a sister, Mrs. Esther De Maranville of Burbank, Calif. and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
