Mrs. Dobbert, wife of William F. Dobbert, died at her home in Stanton township on Monday, following a long illness from dropsy and other complications. The deceased had been in poor health for some years and became seriously ill about four weeks ago. During her long illness she was devotedly nursed by her husband and family and everything was done to alleviate her suffereings.

Christina Messelheiser was born at Madison, Wis., February 16, 1872. When a young girl the family moved to Hampton. After her father's ddeath she cam to Plymouth County with her mother. She was united in marriage with W. F. Dobbert in Stanton township in March, 1890, where they have always lived since. Four children were born to bless their union, one of who, a boy, died in infancy.

The deceased was widely known in the community and her death is keenly felt by a large circle of friends who offer sympathy to the bereaved husband and young children

The funeral, which was held at the Stanton Evangelical church on Wednesday afternoon, was very largely attended by relatives, friends and neighbors. The services were conducted by Rev. Stengel and Rev. Reiter.
