Mrs. P. Borchers
Mrs. Pauline Borchers, 88, a resident of Plymouth county the last 67 years, died Tuesday at the Sacred Heart hospital after a sickness of severa years. She had been hospitalize six weeks.
Mrs. Borchers was born October 27, 1869, in Germany. She came to this country and to Plymouth county in 1900. Mrs. Borchers, whose maiden name was Pauline Becker, was married to Behrend H. Borchers march 12, 1891, in Le Mars. They farmed near here until 1921 when they retired and moved to Le Mars. Mr. Borchers died in 1940.
Survivors include three daughters, Miss Anna Borchers and Mrs. Oscar Peters, both of Le Mars, and Mrs. Katherine Ohlrichs of near Merrill, a son, George, of Le Mars; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. John Jacobs of Le Mars, and two other sisters and a brother in Germany.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran church in Johnson township. Rev. E3. E. Senst will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.
