MRS. M. NANNEN IS CALLED BY DEATH

Rites Held Last Thursday For Life-Long Resident Of This County

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Nannen, a lifelong Plymouth county resident, passed away at her home in Le Mars, September 19, after a several months' illness, aged 75 years, 6 months and 27 days.

Elizabeth M. Frerichs was born February 22, 1885, in Preston township northeast of Akron, the daughter of Claus B. and Margaret Rickleffs Frerichs. She was married to Henry A. Nannen in Preston township, February 12, 1912, and resided there until moving to Le Mars in 1944.

Preceding her in death were her husband, a granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are two children, Walter Nannen, of rural Akron and Mrs. Marie Beeck, of Le Mars; three step-children, Johanna Andresen, of Casper, Wyo.; Mrs. Katherine Hillrichs and Harry Nannen, both of rural Ireton; nine grandchildren; two brother, Henry and Dick Frerichs, both of Akron, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Kruse, of Le Mars.
Mrs. Nannen was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church in Le Mars, where funeral servides were held last Thursday. Burial was in the Preston township Lutheran cemetery.
