Died in Westfield township, March 2, 1898, of pneumonia, V. C. Keller aged 27 years. Mr. Keller came here from Elida, Kansas, last November, where his sister resides and was engaged in picking corn for about a month when he entered into a partnership with J. C. Wade in the poultry laying business, in which he has since been engaged.

Bisises his sister in Kansas, the only other relative known of here is his father, who is thought to be in Denver.

The funeral was held at the Methodist church this afternoon at 5 o'clock, as no word could be received from his relatives and the remains were interred in the Akron cemetery.
