Roy Klemme

Special Roy C. (Pard) Klemme, 69, Wichita, Kan., a former Le Mars resident, died at a Wichita hospital April 3 after being hospitalized for two months.

His address was 1640 South Old Manor, Wichita.
He was born July 20, 1900, at Merrill, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Klemme. He married Nora Jordin, Le Mars, Feb. 14, 1924.

They were the parents of a son, Ronald Klemme, Glendale, Calif.

As a young man, Mr. Klemme was a fine athlete and a professional wrestler. While living in Le Mars he was in the transfer business and was a retired Boeing employee.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Pletschette, Le Mars, attended funeral services Monday at Broadway mortuary and at the Immanuel Lutheran church. Burial was at Resthaven Gardens, Wichita.

He is survived by his wife Nora; a son Ronald, Glendale; a brother E. W. Klemme, Le Mars, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Bates, Teotane, Ill., and Mrs. Eleanor Koch, Bloomington, Ill.
