Old Resident Called By Death During Weekend

John Hauschild Succumbs To Illness

John Hauschild, Third Ave., S. W., passed away Saturday evening afte 15 years of illness.

Mr. Hauschild was born Dec. 1, 1859, in Schleswig Holstein, Germany, where he was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Due to the early death of his parents he was raised in a Lutheran Orphan Home.

At the age of 21, he came to this country, making his home in Illinois. Three years later he moved to Plymouth county.

In the year 1892, he was united in marriage to Miss Ricka Seibels. Three children were born to this happy union, all of whom are living.

Mr. Hauschild had been engaged in farming in Grant township for 28 years. In 1919 the family moved to Le Mars. He had always been a faithful member of St. John's American Lutheran church. Mr. Hauschild had been in poor health for the past 15 years. He had reached the age of 83 years, 8 months.

The departed leaves to mourn his death his wife, Ricka, one son, John of Le Mars, two daughters, Mrs. George Borchers, Merrill, and MRs. Fred Ronsiek, Craig, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from St. John's American Lutheran church on Tuesday at 2 o'clock with Rev. L. L. Belk officiating. Funeral arrangements in charge of Mauer's. Interment at city cemetery.
