Saturday For Mrs. Alve Bellwood
Final Rites Are Held

The final summons came to a well-known and lifetime resident of this community, Mrs. Alve (Evelyn) Bellwood, on Thursday, may 18, 1967, at Akron Hospital, after an extended illness, aged 65 years, 8 months, and 10 days.

Evelyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Parker, was born in Plymouth county, Iowa, September 8, 1901, and lived here all her life. On August 8, 1946, she was united in marriage with Alve Bellwood. He preceded her in death here July 22, 1966.

Survivors include a son, Alvin Parker of Orange, Calif.; two daughters, Lutie Tucker, of Anaheim, Calif., and Dorothy Atterbury, of Lima, Ohio; a brother, Bernard Parker of Paramount, Calif., and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Westside Church of Christ, Rev. Donald Bruner, of Morningside Church of Christ, Sioux City, officiating. Mrs. Frances Mackey was soloist and Dean Orris was organist.

Casket bearers were; Roy Carlson, Robert Landing, David Blomberg, William Harkness, Harold Scott, and Roy Warnsing. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
