LE Thunhorst.

L.E. Thunhorst, longtime Plymouth county resident, passed away at an Iowa city hospital on May 14, 1954. He had been taken to the hospital on Thursday, Mr. Thunhorst had suffered from a heart ailment for several years. He was 65 years of age.

Louis Edwin Thunhorst was born July 24, 1888 at Horvel, Illinois. His aged mother, Mrs. Johanna Thunhorst who survives, lives in that city. He was married to Alvina Schuldt April 28, 1910 at Hawarden, Sioux, Iowa, and the couple resided in Plymouth county their entire married life. He was a retired elevator operator.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thuesday at the St Johns's American Lutheran church in Le Mars. Rev. L.L. Belk with officiate and burial will be in the Craig cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Alvina, one daughter, Mrs. William (Lucille) Johnson of Brunsville, two sons, Kenneth of St. Paul and Robert of Worthington, Minnesota, his mother Mrs. Johanna Thunhorst of Harvel, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Nora) Harbert of Harvel, Mrs. Herman (Edna) Schoen of Alton and Mrs. Walter Harbert(Rose) of Morrisonville, Illinois. , and severn grandchildren. A brother Walter of Morrisonville. He was preceded in dather by his father, a brother and a sister.
