Funeral services have been set for Lyle Henry Schleef, 45, and William Michael Donlin, 64, who were killed instantly Thursday morning in a train-truck accident.
BURIAL FOR Mr. Donlin will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Luken - Johnson funeral home. A prayer service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Donlin was born April 18, 1903, at Barnsville, Minn., the son of the late Joseph A. and Martha E. Donlin. His marriage to Lilah M. Brown took place Nov. 26, 1925 at Elk Point. Relatives said Mr. Donlin had not been involved in an accident during his nearly 36 years as a truck driver.
SURVIVORS ARE his wife in Le Mars; three sons. Jack of Escondido, Calif.; Dale of Macon, Ga., and Gary of Shawana, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Lorraine) Becker, Harlan, and Mrs. Roscoe (Evelyn) Small of Le Mars; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Selina) Winterfeld, Craig, and Mrs. Nellie Kehrberg, Le Mars, and a brother J. T. Donlin, Merrill.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
