Funeral services will be held Thursday for Mrs. Annie Albright, 88, Merrill, who died Memorial day (May 27, 1974) at Floyd Valley hospital.
Rev. Harold Norheim will officiate at the 1:30 p.m. services at St. John’s American Lutheran church, Merrill, with burial at Hillside cemetery, Merrill. Mrs. Albright had been hospitalized a week.
Born Dec. 16, 1885, in Plymouth County, Mrs. Albright was a homemaker. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County and retired to Merrill 57 years ago.
A member of St. John’s American Lutheran church in Merrill, she married John Albright in 1908 in Plymouth County. She was the daughter of John and Augusta Kress Ruedy.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Leona) Lemke, Merrill, and two sons, Leonard of Merrill and Glenn of The Dalles, Ore. There are also five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Clara Gibbs of Merrill, and Mrs. Katherine Penne, Mrs. Mary Albright and Mrs. Ida Briegel, all of Le Mars.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, three brothers, Henry, George and Jacob, and one sister, Mathilda Sudmeyer.
