Note: His mother's maiden name is Wakeman. His maternal grandmother's maiden name was Lyman.

DEATH COMES TO KENNETH BENNETT

Rites Held Last Friday In Hawarden For Chatsworth Man

Kenneth Bennett, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Bennett, of Chatsworth, passed away Wednesday, January 23, at Hawarden, at the age of 55 years, 10 months and 15 days.

Kenneth was born March 8, 1896, at Chatsworth, Iowa, where he resided with his parents during their lifetime. He then lived at Huron, S. D., with his sister, Mrs. Mabel Van Allen, for ten years, coming with her to Hawarden about seven years ago.

Since the death of Mrs. Van Allen last September, he had been cared for at the Panska Nursing Home in Hawarden. Kenneth had been an invalid all his life and spent most of his years in a wheelchair.

Surviving are two brothers, A. L. Bennett, of Santa Rosa, Calif., and L. C. Bennett, of Wilmington, Del., and two sisters, Mrs. M. O. Nelson, of Hawarden, and Mrs. Orin Harris, of Akron.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Methodist church at Hawarden, Rev. B. Roy Brown officiating. Interment was beside his parents in Riverside cemetery, Akron.
