Old Resident Called By Death During Weekend

Mrs. Albert Adden Succumb To Illness

Mrs. Johanna Fredericka Adden Fifth Ave. N. W,, died August 1 1943, from a heart ailment after five week illness.

Mrs. Adden was born November 3, 1875, in Germany where she was also baptized in the Lutheran faith. When she was 4 years old she came to this country, making her home near Ireton, Iowa. It was here that she received her education and religious instruction, and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. In the year 1892 she was united in marriage to Albert F. Adden Grant township. To this happy union union five children were born, all of whom are living. The family moved to Le Mars in the year 1910. In 1932 Albert Adden passed away.

Mrs. Adden had reached the age of 67 years, 8 months and 29 days. The deceased had been a faithful member of St. John's American Lutheran church and for the past 30 years a member of the Ladies Aid Society.

She leaves to mourn her departure five children: Henry, Albert, Mrs. Herman Beck, Mrs. William F. Kilker of Le Mars, and Dick Adden of Hinton, one sister, Mrs Chris Janssen of Craig; two brothers. Richard Frerichs of Ireton, and John Frerichs of Tyler, Minn.; five grand children. One sister and one brother preceded Mrs. Adden in death.

Funeral services will be conducted from St. John's Lutheran church on Wednesday at 2 o'clock with Rev L. L. Belk officiating.. Funeral arrangements by Mauer's. Interment at city cemetery.
