STRANGULATION IS CAUSE OF DEATH

Geraldine Minnie Halweg Died In Sioux City Hospital Sunday

Geraldine Minnie Halweg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dowle Halweg, of Washington township, died at St. Vincent's hospital in Sioux City, Monday, as a result of strangulation. Some food became lodged in the girl's throat Sunday and she was rushed to the Sioux City hospital. An operation was performed but she died Sunday afternoon.

Geraldine was born June 14, 1931, in Washington township and at the time of her passing was 3 years, 3 months and 3 days old.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon from the Johnson township Lutheran church with Rev. Gustavo Meyer officiating.
