Louie Kerner [Koerner], an old resident of Remsen, died suddenly last Sunday evening at the age of 73 years. He was taken to a hospital Sunday morning when it was learned he was suffering from a ruptured ulcer, and no hope was given him. He is survived by his wife and five children. They are Mrs. Frank Bishton, Mrs. August Sanno [Sanow], John, Harry and Clarence Kerner, of Remsen. The funeral services were held Thursday at his home. Rev.
