Obituaries. Lillian Dallenbach.
Mrs. Alfred Dallenbach, 88, Remsen, died Saturday (Feb. 11, 1964) at Happy Siesta Care Center, Remsen, after a 6-month illness. She lived at Happy Siesta the last several months.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Myron Herzberg will officiate and burial will be in the Remsen City Cemetery under direction of the Moeller Funeral Home.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
Lillian Louise Strobeen was born Sept. 8, 1896, at Remsen to Gustave and Mathilda Oehlerts Strobeen. She lived at Remsen most of her life.
She married Alfred Dallenbach Feb. 23, 1918, at Pipestone, Minn. they lived at Woodstock, Minn., a few years after their marriage and then moved to a farm north of Remsen where they farmed until 1945 when they moved to Remsen. Mr. Dallenbach died in 1971.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Church.
She is survived by a nephew, Orville Raveling, Sioux City, and a grand-nephew, Daniel Lee Raveling, Sioux City. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Feb. 13, 1984, page 11.
