Mrs. Frank Bergner Lived in Remsen.
Mrs. Frank H. Bergner, 88, of Sioux City, died Thursday at a hospital where she had been a patient several months.
Mrs. Bergner was born October 12, 1864, in Denmark. She came to the United States at the age of 11 years and at the age of 16 went to Plymouth county, Ia. She was married to Mr. Bergner July 19, 1902, at Barnesville, Minn.
She resided at Remsen, until three years ago when she went to Sioux City to reside with a daughter, Mrs. Delia Retzloff. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church at Remsen.
Survivors in addition to the daughter are the widower; three sons, Elmer of Sioux City, Chester of Remsen, and Frank, Jr., of Le Mars; a brother, Nelson Miller, Le Mars, a sister , Mrs. Anna E. Cook of Altheimer, Cal.; 12 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. – Le Mars Sentinel, Feb. 18, 1953, page 6.
