REMSEN BUSINESS MAN SUCCUMBS. Alfred C. Moeller Laid to Rest in Remsen Cemetery Today.
Funeral services for Alfred C. Moeller of Remsen were held this afternoon at 1:30 in St. Paul’s Evangelical church at Remsen, with the Rev. Paul Wuebben officiating. Interment was in the Remsen cemetery , with Wiltgen’s funeral home in charge.
Alfred C. Moeller was born at Remsen Sept 2. 1891, and passed away at a Sioux City hospital on Oct. 21, at the age of 52 years, one month and a day.
Alfred C. Moeller was united in marriage to Henrietta Janss. To this union four children were born. One passed away in infancy. His wife and one daughter and two sons survive. One son, Ensign Frederick Moeller is in the armed services, and Robert and Marguerite are at home.
Mr. Moeller had been in the furniture and undertaking business in Remsen for over 20 years. He was a member of the Masonic lodge. – Le Mars Globe Post, Oct 25, 1943.
