Diane Marie Kohler, 3-month daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kohler of Remsen, died Wednesday (Oct. 19, 1977) in a Sioux City hospital after a sudden illness. The cause of death has not been determined.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Christ Lutheran church at Remsen. Rev., Walter Resner will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen City cemetery under the direction of the Moeller funeral home at Remsen.
Diane Marie was born June 22 at Orange City.
Survivors in addition to the parents are three brothers, David of Ft. Hood, Tex., and Douglas and Dean, both of Remsen; sister, Debra of Remsen; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kohler of Remsen and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wiess of Dow City. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Oct. 20, 1977, page 10.
