Clara Haack, 65, Remsen Dies, Services Friday.
Miss Clara Haack, 65, of Remsen, died Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the Sacred Heart hospital from complications following a broken hip suffered a week ago.
Miss Haack was born June 8, 1886 on a farm near Remsen and has resided in Remsen and vicinity all her life.
Surviving are a brother, Harry of Remsen and seven sisters, Arnonda, Mrs. Chas. (Emma) Schumacker, Alma, Bertha and Mrs. Peter Treinen all of Remsen, Mrs. Howard Smith, Marshalltown, Iowa, and Mrs. Schectzal of Sioux City.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1;30 at the Moeller Funeral Home in Remsen and at 2 o’clock at St. Paul’s Lutheran church. Rev. Paul Wuebben will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Remsen cemetery. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, Dec. 7, 1951, page 5.
