Clarence John Haack, 69 lifelong Remsen resident, died Friday at Floyd Valley hospital in Le Mars after a 1 week illness. He was a retired farmer and mechanic.

Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Evangelical in Remsen city under direction of the Moeller Funeral home.

He was born June 10, 1899, in Plymouth county. His marriage to Irma Hanno took place July 6, 1922, in Le Mars.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter Mrs. Clifford Tonsfeldt, Remsen, two sons Larry and Milton, both of Remsen, two brothers Adolph of Le Mars and Elmer of Remsen and a sister, Mrs. William Raveling. There are six grandchildren.
