Obituary. Claus H. Haack.
Mrs. Claus H. Haack, Remsen, received word Tuesday of the death of her husband, Claus H. Haack, 78, at veterans’ hospital, St. Cloud, Minn.
He was born May 24, 1890, in Sioux county and was a veteran of world war I. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Haack and a member of the Remsen VFW post.
Funeral services will be a 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Evangelical church, Remsen. Rev. Paul Wuebben will officiate and burial will be in the Remsen cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.
A wake will be held Thursday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret; two sons, Earl, Le Mars, and Charles, Mt. Vernon, and three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Mildred) Smith, Lisbon; Ms. Inez Kettler, Rock Valley, and Mrs. Robert (Irene) Lundgren, Le Mars. – Le Mars Globe-Post, April 17, 1969, page 4.
