L. D. Ross, 81, Akron, died at an Akron Hospital Saturday (June 2, 1973) of an apparent heart attack.

The funeral was 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church at Akron with Rev. Ralph Burdette officiating.

Mr. Ross was born Feb. 23, 1892, at Akron. He farmed in the Akron area until 1951 when he retired and moved into Akron. He married Cecile Rice July 4, 1914, in Sioux City. She died in 1970.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Cecile (Phyllis) Erickson of Akron; one grandson, and three brothers, Guy of Westfield, Earl of Akron, and Ted of Ontario, Calif..
