Funeral services for Edith Elsie Martin, age 96, formerly of Akron, Iowa, were held at 2:30 p.m., July 7 at the Schroeder Funeral Home, Rev. D. Roy officiating, burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Pall bearers were: William Le Tellier, Harold Simmons, Henry Willms, Earl Hilliker, Michael Simmons and Rodney Willms.

Mrs. Martin died July 2,1972 at Lewiston, Idaho.

She was born August 26, 1875 at Iowa City, Iowa. On September 19, 1894 she married Herman Martin at Presho, S.D. Mr. Martin died several years ago.

Survivors include one son, L. H.Martin of Lewiston; one sister, Okie Weber of Havonnah, N.D.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
