GRONEMEYER, SCHUYLER, SCHUYLER

Mrs. George Gronemeyer, 71, of Le- Mars died last Tuesday at Floyd Valley Hospital after a two week illness. She had been at the hospital two weeks. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 28 at 2 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church with Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. Paul Tobiason officiating. Burial was in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home.

The former Ethel M. Schuyler, she was born September 18,1899, at Sioux City, a daughter of the late Henry B. and Caroline Ruff Schuyler. She married George Gronemeyer October 14, 1920, at Sioux City. The couple farmed in Preston Township until 1954 when they retired to Le Mars. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church and American Lutheran Church women.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Survivors are her husband George of Le Mars; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Irma) Eilers and Mrs. Vernon (Shirley)Ludwigs, both of Sioux City; a son, Wayne of lreton; a sister, Mrs. Jennie McElhaney of Akron and six grandchildren.
