Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd Hurt, age 72, of Denver, Colorado were held Saturday, December 26 at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron, Reverend David Olson, pastor of the First Baptist Church
officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, casket bearers were Walter Young, Ray Norton, William Bohlen, Ellis Tucker, John Winquist and Gayland Small.

Gladys Warner Hurt was born January 26, 1898 at Oto, Iowa. She was married In March, 1920. Mr. Hurt died several years ago. Mrs. Hurt was a former Akron resident, she passed away December 12 in Denver, after a long illness.

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Jessie Warner of Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Falk Vandeventer of Denver, Colo.;.a sister,. Mrs. C. P. Kistle of Le Mars; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
