Elsie E. Stotz, 91, Panama City, Florida, formerly of Akron,, died Monday, Nov. 9,1998 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 13 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron with Rev, Allen Bidne officiating. Pallbearers were Gene Waag, Brad) Tim and Shane Wells, Chuck Utesch Lee Stotz and Robert Beeck. Organist was Carol Harris: with Roxanne Larson as soloist. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stotz was born on May 7, 1907 in Tripp S.D., the daughter of John and Clara (Hieb) Permann. She attended school in Hutchinson County, S.D.; She married Fred Stotz in Tripp, S.D. on March 30,1933. He died on Dec. 31, 1967. She had been a longtime Akron resident prior to moving to Panama City, Florida in 1992. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Akron.

Mrs. Stotz is survived by three sons: Marvin Stotz; Billings, MT, Dennis Stotz and his wife, Sonia of Bellevue, NE, and Ruben Stotoz of Panama City, FL; one daughter and her husband: Shirley and William McNamara of Panama City, FL; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth A. Stotz; one daughter, Norma J. Beeck; one sister, Emma Auch; two brothers, John Permann and Gus Permann.
