Mrs. Terry (Donna R.) Kloster, 60, of Remsen, died Saturday, May 27, 1995 at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 30 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. John J. McGuirk officiating. Burial was in the Remsen City Cemetery. The Moeller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kloster was born March 12, 1935, in Jefferson, the daughter of Dorcey and Eva (Knowles) Bane. She graduated from Bayard High school in Bayard and attended Commercial Extension Business College in Omaha, Nebr. She later lived in Fremont, Nebr., until her marriage to Terry Kloster on March 10, 1984, in Remsen, The couple lived in Harlan until August 1994, at which time they moved to Remsen.
She was known for the porcelain dolls she made and her needlework. She was also an avid golfer.
Surviving are her husband, Terry; her mother, Eva Hall of Jamaica, Ia.; five children, Liesa Mulliken and Patrick Poehling of Fremont, Nebr., J. Scott Poehling of Omaha, Nebr., Debra Poehling of Garland, Tex. And Diane Poehling of San Diego, Calif.; four stepchildren, Jeff Kloster of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Craig (Tara) Schnack of St. Louis Park, Minn., Anne LaBrie of Blair, Nebr. And Neal Kloster of Boone, Ia.; 11 grandchildren and two brothers
Casket bearers were Rich Baily, Tim Loutsch, David HIngst, Tom Hoefemeyer, Patrick Loutsch and Dale Fledderman.
