Ruth A. Kunath, died Tuesday April 2, 1996 at Happy Siesta Retirement Home in Remsen, after a lengthy illness.
Miss Kunath was born June 7, 1927 in America Township, Plymouth County, the daughter of Frank H. and Annie C. (Kloster) Kunath. She lived with her parents on a farm south of Le Mars, Iowa for a short period of time. They then moved to Oyens, Iowa. Ruth became a resident of Happy Siesta Retirement Home December 20, 1978.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Remsen, Iowa.
Survivors include an aunt, Mrs. Josie (Moritz) Kunath of Le Mars, Iowa; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Shirley Mae Kunath.
Pall bearers were Tom Petersen, Terry Kloster, Stanley Mohning, Jerry Treinen, Roger Kloster and Floyd Miller. The funeral was conducted by Moeller Funeral Home on Friday April 5, 1996 and burial was in the Remsen City Cemetery. Source: funeral bulletin
