Was Well Known in Plymouth County

John Hall, 63, of Pierson, Iowa, died Saturday at Iowa City after a brief illness. He
was born near Fivemiletown, County Tyrone, Ireland, January 31, 1887.

Mr. Hall came to the United States in 1905, and to Ida County, Iowa, where he resided until he located in the Pierson community in 1909. He was married to Bessie Kennedy on February 5, 1909, at Washta, Iowa.

Survivors besides the widow, include two sons, Everett of Hinton and Alvin of Climbing Hill; four grandchildren; three sisters and six brothers.

Mr. Hall was well known in the James community where he had assisted his son, Everett, in farming operations during seasonal rush periods for the past 10 years. His many friends and acquaintances there and elsewhere will mourn his passing.

Mr. Hall had been employed at the Beeghly Hybrid Seed Company at Pierson until shortly before his death.

Funeral services were held at 1:30, Tuesday afternoon at the Pierson Methodist Church and burial was made in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sioux City,Iowa.
