Dated: August 16, 1934Frank Junck Dies After Brief Illness
Many friends mourn the death of Frank Junck who died in a Sioux City hospital on Friday of last week at the age of 26 years. He passed away after suffering a brief sickness of typhoid fever. Mr. Junck had a wide circle of friends in the vicinity, having lived here nearly all of his life.
Frank Junck was born in Sioux City, May 19, 1908. He was united in marriage to Marie Plendl five years ago, and at the time he and his wife located on a farm in this vicinity and have followed the occupation of farming since then. Prior to his marriage he engaged in farm duties on his father's farm.
The deceased is survived by his widow, Marie;
two sons, Gerald and Roland; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Junck; three brothers, Clarence, Martin, and Erwin; and five sisters, Irene, Mildred, Lucille, LaVonne, and Betty, all of Hinton.Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock
Sunday afternoon at the family home, with Rev. A.H. Johnke officiating. Burial was made in the Hungerford Township cemetary.
