Clarence Weber Died Friday

Popular Young Man Succumbs At Age 31

The many friends of Clarence Weber, young Le Mars business man, were shocked to learn of his untimely death, which occurred at Sacred Heart hospital Friday evening, February 6.

He had been ailing for some time and while he made a valiant fight to recover from his illness it seemed that all that he could do and all that medical science could do was of no avail and life ebbed away at 8:30 Friday evening.

Clarence Nicholas Weber was born in Le Mars, November 11, 1910. He spent his entire life here. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Eagles and the Knights of Columbus.

He was associated with his mother, sisters and brother in the Le Mars Recreation Parlor.

Mr. Weber, who never married, is survived by his mother, Mrs. Victor Weber, 115 First Avenue South, four sisters, Olga Katherine. Mary Any and Lois, and two brothers, Herbert of Le Mars and Dick of Spencer.

Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a. m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Monsignor J. D. Fisch officiating. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Burial was at St. Joseph's cemetery.

Clarence had a host of friends. He had a jovial disposition and always had a good word for everyone. He was particularly popular with the younger set and when he died the young boys in Le Mars lost a real friend.

Many people from out of the city were here to attend the funeral which was of the largest held here for some time.

The surviving members of the family have the deepest sympathy of a large circle of friends in this community.
