Wife Of Well Known Business Man Dies At Her Home

Mrs. Anna E. Willging, wife of Edward C. Willging, of this city, died at her home, 711 First Avenue SW., Friday, December 21. Mrs. Willging had been in poor health for some time, but her condition was not regarded as dangerous and her sudden death came as a great shock to her relatives and friends.

Mrs. Willging, during her ten years residence in Le Mars, built up many friendships, and was esteemed hy all who knew her for her kindliness of disposition and neighborly qualities. She was a devout member of the Catholic church, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and of St. James ladies aid society.

Mrs. Willging was born at Osceola, Clarke county, Iowa, November 18, 1874, and lived there untll her marriage with Edward C. Willging in 1893.

Following their marriage they lived in Dubuque and later at Ogden, Iowa, coming to Le Mars ten years ago, where Mr. Willging and his son engaged in business.

Mrs. Willging leaves to mourn her death her husband, E. C. Wiliging, two sons, Edward W. Willging, of Le Mars, Harold M. Willging, of Lincoln, Neb., and flve grandchildren.

She also leaves five sisters and a brother, Mrs. D. W. Webster, Osceola, Iowa; Mrs. John McDonough, Des Moines; Mrs. Edna E. Eisemann, Hammond, Ind.; Mrs. J. P. Murphy, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. C. E. Fowler, Verdigree, Neb.; Charles Alexander, Lake Charles, La.

The funeral was held Monday morning at St. James church, Rev. Father L. J. Cooper officiating, and interment made in St. Joseph cemetery.
